There is now one extra channel, called ‘Adult Content’. Any samples that are of adult nature (as defined by Linden Labs — I have to remind you that they are the final authority on that definition and not we are) have to be submitted to that channel and to none other, even if they would, otherwise, fit a different channel. Your existing dropboxes should handle that channel fine — just take and rez the dropbox you want to handle it if it doesn’t show up in the channel menu.

The rules have been suitably changed to reflect the relaxed restriction — please refer to the Rules page for details. I must mention that advertising adult services, as opposed to adult content, is not permitted within DSN for reasons of legal liability we would rather avoid.

To subscribe to the adult channel, a kiosk version 1.2 located on a sim marked Adult is required — at the moment, there are no such kiosks, since version 1.2 was just released, but as soon as any show up, they will be listed separately on the join page. The kiosks on Adult land automatically detect where they are and change their texture to mark themselves as such — Peter made a neat version of the logo featuring a tasteful nude, so you won’t miss them. If you can’t teleport into a sim marked Adult, that means that LL does not consider you mature enough to receive adult content and you should take it up with them.

Please update all your kiosks to v1.2 — version 1.1 will continue working, but update server will bug you from time to time until you find all of them and replace them with newer versions. The new 1.2 version package also includes a version of the kiosks that, instead of the statistics display, displays a random sampling of all those nice textures you have put into your dropboxes. Should you wish to replace kiosks sooner than the automatic update system kicks in, or lose the update package in the mail, the kiosk kit is available for free at the usual locations.
